Society in Action: Strengthening Chile through civil society organizations

Summary versión in english of the complete book in spanish “Sociedad en Acción: construyendo Chile desde las organizaciones de la sociedad civil”. This document shows the results of more than two years of research accomplished by the project. The main findings of this study have to do not only with the explosive increase in terms of number of civil society organizations in Chile in the past decade, but also, with the great social value they have, especially in a national context of widespread mistrust. Also the documento evidence the prominent place that Chile obtains compared to other Latin American countries, when analyzing the economic data which analyzes the research.
